The tool is very small and hand held, perfect for making or splicing in replacement sections of brake pipes in situ on the vehicle. Produces accurate SAE flares on 3 /16" and 4.75mm pipes. The pipe is clamped into the end of the by tightening two clamping bolts, then screw in the former/die to flare the pipe. The only space you need is enough to hold the tool and then to tighten the former. Suitable for most pipe types, copper, copper nickel, steel, brass, aluminium.
